College WORKshop for Seniors

Reduce the stress of your senior year by getting a jump start on your applications this summer!

There's no better time to start working on your college applications and essays than over the summer.  Really! Getting a start in the summer means that you will be able to enjoy all those great senior activities and focus on your classes.

Over the course of four classes, students will complete sample applications, research college and scholarship opportunities, develop their personal essays and complete a student resume for recommendations and scholarships.  The workshop will also focus on organization and deadline management. Parents are welcome to join us for the first hour to get an overview of college admissions in today's world.

  • Space is limited in these workshops so that each student can receive highly individualized guidance.

  • Each workshop consists four 3-hour sessions for a total of 12 hours.

  • Seniors from all high schools are welcome!

"The FAQs about College Admissions Today"

Designed for parents and students, this hour-long seminar answers  the most frequent and critical questions that both students and parents have.  "Is it really harder to get into college these days?", "What is the difference between UC and CSU?," "What exactly are A-G requirements?," "SAT, ACT or both?," "Why is my GPA not my GPA?,"  "What should I/my student be doing now?," and the big one, "How much is it really going to cost?"

Please join me for a presentation full of practical suggestions and important information.
